about

The year was 2005... It was a bitter cold, Pennsylvania winter. Four dudes in make-up fx school decided to make a Christmas album. They must have been really fucking bored.

With its combination of demented originals, punk rock covers of Christmas classics, and a slew of pop culture references, this record is fun, funny and festive.

Ten years have passed since its recording, and the members of the Krypt Keeper 5 have since been scattered to the winds. Rumors of an Easter-themed follow up have long been forgotten.

credits

released December 2, 2015

Klaus Satan Von Chudberg - bass, vocals
(Tiny) Timminy Grinch - guitar, vocals
Mikey - vocals, keys
Russell McCulloch - drums, vocals, guitar

All songs written by the Krypt Keeper 5, except the ones that weren't...
"Oi! to the World" is by the Vandals. "White Christmas" was written by some white guy. "Christmas Evil" is "Halloween" by the Misfits, but with different lyrics. "Santa Claus is Going to Town" is really "Santa Claus is Coming to Town". "Grandma Got Run Over By A Reindeer" used to be a hokey country song that we didn't write. "Gloria" is from church. "The Monster Mash" was originally sung by Dracula, I think. And "I Think We're Alone Now" was by Tommy James and the Shondells, but we cover the Tiffany version. Because we're lame.

Seasons Beatings was recorded in a living room in Monessen, PA. The house was torn down years ago.

Produced and recorded by the Krypt-Keeper 5. Originally released in December 2005.
