Lysergik represents young blood on the St Louis scene; 3 of their members are still in high school. "5 Songs to Scare Your Grandma" is the first release from a promising young band. The three original songs on this EP are reminiscent of the Dayglo Abortions; it's thrashy street punk, but with black metal influences. They round out the record with 2 covers of punk rock classics. Honestly, we're just happy that kids are still listening to punk rock these days. Enjoy.
